Roccat Kone Pro is the latest addition to the broad range of gaming roccat rats. Available in Arctic White and Black Ash, $ 79.99 (£ 69.99, au $ 119.95) The gaming wired mouse has many things for it – including the Titan Switch, 19K owl eye sensor, RGB lighting, and on- memory Board for up to five profiles.

All impressive technology is placed in an ultra-light shell that weighs only 66g. This comes with some sacrifices including the lack of a DPI adjustment button which might be a big “no-go” compared to the mouse at the same price as the Viper 8K Razer and Dark Core RGB Pro wireless from Corsair. The driver without clunky to make adjustments quickly also doesn’t help much.

Without holding the mouse, Kone Pro looks sleek regardless of what color you choose. The click button has a transparent Honeycomb design that really makes RGB lighting pop. Between the left and right click button is the Titan wheel scroll wheel that looks phenomenal. Besides that the ridges that look slim, scrolled wheels that are designed by aluminum look like high-tech water wheels. Below is the place feels like a little reflection.

PTFE or Teflon glides treated with blue heat (extra sets included for a good size) sort of feel a little in place with the overall design color. This is where the user can switch between the profile set too. The USB Phantomflex Cable contributes to the float experience from Kone Pro, but does not look too durable.

Even though Roccat Kone Pro might be ultra lightly, it doesn’t feel too thin. The mouse can be held comfortably in three handle styles including the palm, fingertips and claws. Ergonomics is only good for those who have a big hand to big. The front and back side button is placed so you don’t need to set too much handle. The Titan Roll Wheel Pro is a joy to use. According to Roccat, the alloy quickly adapts to the user’s finger temperature, making it more comfortable to use. From scroll to click, it’s one of the best scroll wheels we use.

Performance is where the most calculated things and Roccat wears the echports genealogy on his sleeve. Titan switch makes click and fast. Do you play games or work, click feel responsive. And as far as durability, Kone Pro is valued for 100 million clicks.

Light design makes fine cursor controls such as butter. These thanks to the amazing OWL-OWL-OWL optical sensors that have 50g and 400-inch acceleration speeds per second. As mentioned above, the lack of DPI buttons can be adjusted to enhance the user experience quickly, hurt the experience.

To adjust the dpi, you must enter configuration mode on Kone Pro by holding the profile button and the left click button. Then, the scroll wheel must be pressed up or down for the color that matches DPI. This means making fast adjustments between fast-paced shooters such as fortnite and call of duty and slower gunners such as Resident Evil Village and Metro Exodus, experience that frustrates. Even worse for other changes such as polling rates and wheel adjustments.

Because Roccat Kone Pro offers up to five profile settings in the on-board memory, you better use the Roccat swarm application even if you play the mouse up and press the profile button still not too intuitive. Fortunately, this application has a strong set of options in fine-tuning user preferences. Everything starts from the performance option to RGB lighting settings can be configured for each profile easily.

Kone Pro may not be able to stand up for rivals razer and Corsair in the price range of $ 70 when it comes to set features – but the gaming performance is a calculated place and this mouse game does a tremendous job. Customization is light, comfortable and high makes this a solid gaming mouse if you are willing to look past her shortcomings.
