The last two years may disappoint for fans and believers Google’s pixel telephone. Pixel 4 comes with high-end specifications but soli-based Sonar features project is not worth the cost and compromise that needs to be done to make space for it. Pixel 5 years ago, on the other hand, is nothing but premium and it looks like Google riding the road. Fortunately, it might not happen as a “Whitechapel” Google Silicon sounds very premium based on a new leak, which means pixels 6 will also.

The launch of Apple M1 Silicon last year prepared speculation that Google would also come out with its own processor. Of course, Google has many special silicon for its internal use, but the Whitechapel GS101 will be the first to be commercialized if it happens. And seen from a recent leakage, most will blow the CPU side and GPU from SOC coins.

On the one hand, the latest rumors say that Google doesn’t aim to compete with Snapdragon 888 and the processor actually matches the performance of Snapdragon 870 but uses a newer 5nm process. As usual, Google utilizes engine learning to squeeze as much as possible, especially when it comes to AI applications.

For the graphical side of things, Google can use the GPU Mali G78, which is the same as Samsung using the Galaxy S21 even with a few fewer execution core. It wasn’t really surprising because Samsung was rumored to be a person who produced this Google Silicon chip. Even if it does not have all the core supported by the theoretical GPU, it is still a significant increase over Adreno 620 GPU Pixel 5 which comes with Snapdragon mid-range 765g.

Google will be reported to also use a more contemporary look this time, giving a pixel screen 6 and 6 XL 120Hz. It finally puts Google’s flagship at the same level as another Premium Android phone after what might disappoint 2020 for a pixel family.
