The latest Apple M1 MacBook Air has retreated to the price of all time today. All M1 water color choices are now $ 900 thanks to an additional $ 50 coupon that tapped the selling price down from $ 950 to $ 900. We last saw this discount earlier this month, so it’s time to take a thin and light laptop if you missed previous sales.

We consider the MacBook Air M1 Apple laptop to get now if you are on the market for a new one. We gave a score of 94 mostly because Apple did not screw up what we liked about the previous model – it only increased the internal so that the M1 water felt like a very new machine. The model sold has 8GB of RAM, 256GB storage and a new M1 chipset and the latter makes the biggest difference in the way this laptop is performing. We were impressed with the fast speed that was on, including how fast the original application was like a safari load. While 8GB of RAM may seem insufficient, the M1 chip can actually do more with it than the previous processor.

We also still like simple but consistent air design – the beautiful retina display, keyboard and trackpad are very easy to use and the battery lasts more than 16 hours with our testing. While we are not happy with the limited port selection (laptops only have two USB-C ports), we like the fact that Apple does not insert a fan into the MacBook Air M1. That means you get a more quiet machine as a whole, and in our experience, the default heatsink and passive cooling system is enough to keep the air so it’s not too hot.
