Only a few days after Dyson’s most innovative wireless vacuum dating, Dyson V15 detects (which is equipped with a laser, no less), starting for sale Floorcare Stalwart has dropped other new wireless vacuum.
Dyson Omni-Glide is a new type of wireless dust cleaner designed for hard and more compact floors and lighter than cleaners without Dyson cables until now.
The biggest upgrade is the cleaning head that has not been on, e but two, the brush blade which means cleaning takes less time.
The cleaning head also sits in four 360 degree casters so that it can move in all directions, and the vacuum cleaner can even lie flat, making it good to reach the corner and ensure a dust-free area.
But besides from their different cleansing heads, you might be wondering exactly what the difference is and whether they are both among the best vacuum cleaners on the market today – and we have tested the depth to find out.

Price
At $ 399.99 / £ 349.99 / au $ 599.99, Dyson Omni-Glide is the most affordable Dyson vacuum cleaner until now, although it is still relatively expensive compared to many other wireless vacuums, and available to buy now on US and Australia, and will go for sale in England in July.
Instead, Dyson V15 detects, known as V15 detect absolute in the UK and V15 detects total clean in Australia, priced at $ 699.99 / £ 599.99 / au $ 1.399 / au.
There are two variants of the V15 available. In the US, the second model was called Dyson Outsize Absolute + and was priced at $ 899.99 while in the UK it was known as absolute Dyson Outsize and cost £ 699.99.
It has a larger / 1.9 liter of 0.5 gallon / 1.9 liter dust tray, although it cannot count and sort dust particles, and the US model comes with two batteries.
In Australia, Dyson V15 detects an extra absolute is also available and is equipped with a free standing dock, with a $ 1,449 AU fee.

Design
Dyson Omni-Glide and Dyson V15 Detecting certainly looks different from each other.
While they both have a main part containing a motorbike, cyclone – which produces centrifugal power to keep dust and dirt in the tube – and the dust tube, Dyson omni-glide is much smaller and more compact than V15 detection.
Dyson Omni-Glide has a vertical handle, which holds a swappable battery, rather than a traditional style handle found on V15 detection, which is also where the swappable battery is installed.
The omni-glide power button, which can be found on the front of the handle, ensures the vacuum cleaner continues to run off until it is turned off, while the trigger for detection V15 means it is only pressed when this is pressed.

The dust tube on omni-glide holds 0.05 gallons / 0.02 liters, compared to 8.2 gallons / 0.75 liters of dust on v15 detecting. Both wireless vacuum can be used in stick mode, with sticks and cleaning heads installed on the tube, or converted into handheld mode and used with one of the tools they follow.
Because of a long handle, we found omni-glide complicated to use in handheld mode. On the note, Omi-Glide comes with one cleaning head, and three tools, while Detect V15 has two cleansing heads, and six tools bundled with it.
Battery life and battery
Runtime of each vacuum also varies. During testing, omni-glide lasts 20 minutes at the lowest power setting, although this goes down to just shy in 18 minutes at maximum power.
Meanwhile, Detecting V15 devoured 59 minutes between costs in the lowest power mode. We were also disappointed that Omni-Glide did not have a real way to measure the battery level, while V15 had an LCD (extraordinary) screen that showed the remaining runtime, and any blockage and damage to the dust collected by the piezo sensor (more about below).
When it comes to suction, Omni-Glide has two levels of power while Detect V15 has three, which means the last more proficient suck around the house.
More suction power means this vacuum space is better to pull the ground – on the ground from the carpet, make cleaning your floor with a much faster task – but when you consider omni-glide designed solely for a hard floor while Detect V15 can be used on The carpet and floor is hard, this reduced suction is not really a problem.
On the test, we found both vacuum whipping dust and fine cereal from the hard floor in just one slow sweep, so that the decrease sucking on Omni-Glide certainly did not hinder its cleaning skills.
Feature
Omni-glide and V15 detect both have a cleaning head that offers very different functions.
Omni-glide cleaning head has two brush blades as soft nylon to capture large particles without damaging the hard floor, while the anti-static carbon fiber filament gathers fine dust at the same time.

The head sits in the four 360 degree casters, along with the neck of articulation, allowing vacuum cleaners to be driven in all directions. It can also lie fully flat, making it nice to be cleaned under lowland furniture and in a narrow room.
On our test impressed how smooth the wireless vacuum was sliding on the hard floor and how easy it was to direct a circular trash can in the kitchen, and under the sideboard in the living room.
Hard floor cleaning head Detect V15 cannot be driven in all directions and only has a brush bar, but the laser feature, which illumines the green light beam in front of the head, to highlight the hidden dust that can be seen by the human eye.
Detection of V15 is also equipped with an acoustic piezo sensor that can calculate and identify the size of the dust particles collected, display information on the LCD screen – not something Omni-Glide offered but a useful feature if you want your clean comprehensive proof.
Finally, V15 detects also sent with high torque cleaning heads that can be used on carpets and hard floors.
When this head, which has 56 polycarbonate teeth that damage the hair into small parts so they will not be tangled around the brush bar, used in automatic mode, the vacuum cleaner will adjust the suction power that is in accordance with the type of floor automatically.
Decision
When it comes to choosing between Dyson Omni-Glide vs Dyson V15 detect, the type of floor that you have in your home will affect the cleaner of the wireless dust which is best for you.
If you only have a hard floor then Dyson omni-glide will be a great purchase. If you have a carpet, omni-glide will not be your main vacuum cleaner, but it will function as an additional vacuum for fast cleaning.
Detection V15 is a real power plant in terms of sucking carpet dust, and many will enjoy the ‘gamified’ nature of seeing your floor cleanliness on the LCD screen.
Also, you know … laser.
Omni-glide is more compact than detecting V15, making it good for homes that lack space, and can easily get low plain furniture or in a narrow room, so if this sounds like your home, it will be the winner.
It’s also more affordable too, so it’s a good choice for those who have a budget – save a lot if you don’t have a carpet.
