OnePlus launched OnePlus 10R, a premium phone with a relatively affordable price, in India last week. While we are in the middle of evaluating the telephone for our review, one bit that we can talk about is the design. In the sea of large cellphones with a round edge, including some of OnePlus itself, the company’s new cellphone displays a brave and fresh appearance. It has a flatter edge and a few touch of smart design that makes the device look not only better but also different.
There are several key changes made by OnePlus with OnePlus 10R. The company calls the mobile design as a “without burden” design evolution. And this time basically reduces the burden on the hands of consumers.
The big agreement with OnePlus 10R is a flat edge coated with telephone. Now, this is not the first cellphone in the last few times for a flat edge. IPhone (RE) started a trend a few years ago. But OnePlus is still only a few devices that have taken this route. The benefits of such designs are clear: sharper appearance and better grip.
Flat edges make OnePlus 10R more modern and sharp, especially when you also notice that this phone has a flat screen. This also accentuates the thickness of the cellphone – or rather thinning – because even though it becomes a large phone, packing a large 5,000 mAh battery, OnePlus 10R has a body shell with a thickness of only 8.17mm. That too, rather fun, weighs only 187 grams, which is on the lighter side for this class phone.
However, flat edges are not the only reason why OnePlus 10R looks dashing. The more important factor here is the unique pattern engraved on the back glass of the phone. OnePlus calls the back of OnePlus 10R Nano-Bertexture. It is said that the final result, which includes half of the rear glass, not only makes the phone more resistant to stains and fingerprints but also helps users hold the cellphone better.
We will also see this in a review. But we feel that, regardless of functionality, it is a form in which OnePlus 10R wins. The phone looks different. And look cool, in Sierra Black and Forest Green. The eye pattern gives a fresh and brave personality at the same time. The camera module, with a flat edge and double tone, completes the overall design well. Lens settings, with large lenses for the main camera, look aesthetically fun.
In other words, we feel that OnePlus 10R is one of the most interesting cellphones on the market today. Of course, the way the functional design works is something that we will explore in a complete review.
If you miss it, OnePlus 10R is launched in India with prices starting at RS 38,999, although there are several discounts available from the first day of sales itself. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SOC, up to 150W Supervooc Fast Charging, and a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. OnePlus 10R has a triple-camera setting on the back, which is located in the back panel. You get the 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, 8MP Ultrawide camera and 2MP macro camera
