Twitter has announced something that many people will be excited to hear. Starting today, Twitter room is now available on the mobile web and the Twitter desktop web version. Social networks say that the focus area is infrastructure and UI who are able to adapt to the size of the user’s screen.
Using Twitter rooms, people can set reminders for scheduled spaces and get new accessibility and transcription options. Some of the main features of the Twitter room include the ability to display web preview from the room before people join. The user views the description of the room and the button to “join the room” below it.
Another shared image shows the web view of the space to the right side of the browser with the transcription turned on. With transcription, users see some conversations that occur in the room. Today’s announcement that the Twitter room took refuge in everyone was not the first time we heard about this service. In May this year, the first Twitter room appeared but was only available for users with many followers.
Users need 600 initial followers to justify the features available for them. Twitter said the need to have at least 600 followers, “these accounts tend to have a good experience of direct conversation hosting because their audience is there.”
The room classifies users as hosts, speakers and participants. Participants are muted by default and can only react using emojis but can request the ability to speak. Twitter does have an integrated system to handle accounts that have been blocked by users, giving a notification label when you join the space where someone you have blocked is the speaker.
