Starting from $ 399, the second generation iPhone SE is one of the best “mid-range” smartphones you can buy. And when I say “middle class,” I talked about telephone prices, not its features. The 2020 iPhone SE does not pack the best hardware offered by Apple, but it comes with an important component that makes it a strong competitor.
The iPhone SE runs on the same system-in-chip (SOC) as an iPhone 11: A13 BIIONIC. That means the iPhone Se is equally fast with all the iPhone 11 lines, including the Pro model. The SOC only comes conspiring with a bionic A14 from the iPhone 12 series, so that the iPhone SE will be faster than most people with Android-based contemporaries. Outpouring the Galaxy S20, Oneplus 8, and Pixel 5, all handsets are launched in 2020. And there is no point in comparing its strength to the Galaxy A51, Oneplus Nord, and Pixel 4A which costs the same as the iPhone SE.
At $ 399, the iPhone SE does display a large compromise that can be exploited by Android vendors to steal customers to their own middle class phones. However, what will be taken is a simple design change for Apple to ensure the iPhone SE continues to defeat each Android rival.
The following smartphone sales ranking from Omdia showed that the iPhone SE was the second best-selling cellphone in 2020, with 24.2 million units sold last year. Apple has an impressive year despite a pandemic, with the iPhone 11 continues to sell very well.
The Android handset maker suffers. The best-selling phone Samsung 2020 is the Galaxy A51 mid-range, which sells 23.2 million units. The estimated sales of the latest smartphone from rival research shows that Apple won the first quarter sales battle this year, both in terms of income and volume.
