Samsung India vended mobile phones worth Rs,400 crore between September- October and recorded 99 per cent growth in the decoration order smartphones in the first three diggings of 2022, a elderly company functionary said on Friday.
Samsung India elderly director and head of product marketing Aditya Babbar told PTI that the company recorded a 178 per cent jump in deals in value terms of 5G smartphones between January- September 2022 on a time-over-year base.Samsung had a record gleeful season this time. This was an outstanding performance on account of great profit which we posted of Rs,400 crore in a 60- day period starting September 1, ” he said.
Without telling the exact chance, Babbar said that the growth was in the healthy double- number compared to deals during the gleeful period last time. He said that Samsung Finance Plus was one of the crucial contributors to the growth and the sale on the platform tripled to over 10 lakh during the gleeful season.The growth has been much more in league 2 and 3 municipalities but it has done phenomenally well in civic centres as well, ” Babbar said.The company recorded 99 per cent growth in value terms in the decoration member smartphones priced above Rs,000 all in January- September 2022 compared to the same period last time.
Samsung is the fastest growing decoration member brand in India on the reverse of S22 and Foldables phones. Our growth has been 99 per cent in Rs,000 plus order versus January- September last time, Babbar said.According to Negation exploration’s rearmost report, Samsung was the second largest smartphone dealer in India with an 18 per cent request share in terms of volume in the July- September quarter and remained the top- selling smartphone in the country.
The company claims that its overall mobile phone business grew by 20 per cent and has a 22 per cent profit request share in the first nine months of 2022.We’ve also been the number 1 brand in terms of value since 2013. Consumers are espousing further 5G and decoration phones. We’re at the van of the democratisation of 5G with a Rs,900 device. We’ve 20 bias which are enabled with 5G. We’re number 1 in the 5G brand for the last four diggings, ” Babbar said.He also said that the company will be rolling out software updates across all 5G bias by November 15 and utmost of the bias have formerly started supporting 5G services.
