Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset as a lightweight increase in 8 ordinary Gen 1, and the first cellphone with a new platform arrived in July. Antutu has just released a monthly list of the best performing Android phones, and we were not surprised to see the top two occupied by devices with a new flagship chipset.
ROG Phone 6 Pro with 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage scored more than 1.1 million points, followed by another ASUS telephone, Zenfone 9. The Red Magic 7 by Nubia completed the pulpit and became a leader among those who were not plus chip.
Antutu added this new ranking for sub-flagships. A two -dimensional -powered phone is above – OnePlus 10R and Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G, followed by several Snapdragon 870 devices. We can see that the 8100 -Max version in OnePlus 10R has a small advantage above the usual chip.
Finally in the mid -range segment we only saw three different chipsets represented in the top 10 and two of them were closely related – Snapdragon 778G and 780G. The MediaTek 920 dimensity is that preventing this from becoming a clean sweep.
The score for each phone is calculated as an average of all results for devices that have at least 1,000 runs from benchmarks. The memory combo, written next to the name of the model, is the highest available in the market and does not have to be responsible for all running.
The classification in August in the leading field is expected to be different because more Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 cellphones reach the minimum number of running to meet the requirements, including Xiaomi 12s Ultra and Red Magic 7s.
