Oneplus shares some more details about the upcoming Oneplus 10 Pro, this time with a focus on camera specifications. If you look forward to a lot of hardware upgrades from both genes with Hasselblad, it looks like you have to keep waiting – with the exception of new Ultrawide, this update is mainly software-based.

To recap several basic camera specifications that we learned earlier this week, Oneplus 10 will offer a three-rear camera – the same possibility of the main 48-megapixel, 50-megapixel ultrawide, and 8-megapixel tele configuration like last year. There is a 32-megapixel front facing camera, which is a significant resolution lump of 9 and 9 pro 16-megapixel selfie cameras.

An important update is the addition of shooting modes called RAW plus, such as the Apple Proraw format, combining the benefits of computing photography and RAW shooting. The Oneplus 9 and 9 Pro offer traditional RAW mode, so this is a good improvement for those who want to play with rich raw data files while still maintaining a sophisticated image processing that is so good smartphone camera on.

The three rear cameras can be used in Hasselblad Pro mode updated for Exposure Control settings and shooting 12-bit RAW files. We really liked Pro Mode intuitively on OnePlus 9 and 9 pro, so we wanted to check the latest version. There is a new video recording manual mode, also called a film mode. Offers control over ISO and shutter speed and access to the shooting log format that lends better post-capture color gradation.

9 and 9 Pro cameras are shown in color tunes with Hasselblad, and Oneplus continues to lean on the partnership aspects. In this iteration, combine itself (also Oppo itself) “billion color solutions” and Hasselblad color science to carry 10-bit colors for each of the three cellphone rear cameras. Those who have to make for smooth color gradations in the picture – As long as you’re looking at them on the screen can display all colors.

On the hardware side, there is a new Ultrawide camera sensor with extreme 150-degree fields of view – somewhere at the baseball stadium from 5mm in terms of 35mm. If you want to really go to shoot dramatic, this lens can be used in combination with new Fisheye mode. For a slightly narrow view, offering an ultrawide mode 110 degrees, which is closer to the equivalent of 14mm offered by 9 and 9 pro, and using AI Distortion correction.

There is one more hardware change for Note: It looks like OnePlus drops the monochrome camera. This is a low-resolution chip which is included in previous models to help when photographing black and white images. That claims, anyway. We struggled to find it made a difference in monochrome images and my colleague Jon Porter had complained about his existence for years, and described it on the corner as “confusing” and “futile.” Render from the 10 pro that we have seen so far shows three useful cameras looks along with flash and nothing looks like a monochrome sensor is a little visible. If that happens: separation, monochrome cameras, we don’t know what you are doing.

Outside the camera update, what we have learned about Oneplus 10 pro so far is not surprising at all. It will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 120Hz screen, and 50W wireless charging – in line with previous oneplus flagships and check all “2022 Flagship Android” boxes. This will be launched on January 11, China with availability in other areas this year.
