MSI STEALTH 15M is a little strange gaming laptop from MSI. With strong competitors like the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, for example, who currently enjoys the place in the sun, we get what MSi does here. It wants to offer a thin and lightweight gamer gaming laptop that offers Nvidia RTX 3000 series skills. After all, if ASUS can do it, so does Msi.
The thin and light design MSI stealth 15m, along with a comfortable keyboard and a decent port choice, is a great start. And if the laptop game is only rated on the metrics, we will be happy to recommend it, especially because it does a decent job to take you through gaming in medium settings.
Unfortunately, in terms of ray tracing performance, battery life and heat management, it also leaves something you want. Although usually it’s not a big deal breaking to gamers, unfortunately, the same market targets with new Zephyrus G14 with similar specifications and form factors while also a little more expensive and less strong.

Equipped with the 11th Intel Core i7-11375H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, Carbon Gray MSI Stealth 15m will get you back $ 1,699 (£ 1,200, AU $ 2,180).
We will call it medium, remembering Alienware M15 R4 with similar specifications will make you return almost $ 2,000 in the US. However, there are cheaper choices out there.
Our favorite Asus Rog Zephyrus G14, which is equipped with the same graph, the amount of storage, display resolution and refresh speed, only with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS chip and 16GB of RAM, cheaper at US $ 1,499 in the US. And, based on our test, Zephyrus G14 has far better when running demanding games.
However, the MSI STEALTH 15M has a larger screen advantage, gives you more real estate and twice the amount of memory, if it’s important to you.
Design
If you just take the 15m Stealth MSI, you might not know it’s a gaming laptop. Not many gamer aesthetic elements here. Outside the ventilation of honeycomb on the button, which is similar to what Alienware M15 R4 has, there is actually no gamer-y about his appearance. There are even no types of tapering ornaments or RGB lighting.
It can be a good or bad thing, depending on your taste. If you prefer a little talent or like RGB lighting, this will look very simple and boring for you. On the other hand, if you want a device that you can use easily in the office without being judged by your colleague, this might be just your dream laptop. As long as you don’t mind the fact that the lid is rather difficult to open.
This is one of the lightest and thinnest gaming laptops out there – something you have to give it credit. However, even with today’s standards, many gaming laptops are still large and large. At 3.73 lbs and 0.63 inches thin, it actually beat the 16-inch MacBook Pro and Dell XPS 15, the two best and most portable laptops on the market.
If you look at MSI Stealth 15m as a device to play and work, you will also appreciate the keyboard and trackpad. The keyboard is very comfortable and satisfying to use, not to mention, responsive. And while you are still better playing games with a special mouse, that the trackpad feels fun and good to use for productivity tasks.
