A few days ago, Samsung launched its first A-series phone of 2023, the Galaxy A14 5G, in several markets. The phone will be sold in Europe and the US starting in April 2023. Now, the phone is all set to debut in one of the world’s biggest smartphone markets, India, on January 18. A tipster has shared the marketing poster of the Galaxy A14 5G‘s Indian variant, revealing its specifications.
The poster, however, fails to give any information regarding the processor on the Galaxy A14 5G Indian variant. It is important for interested Indian customers as the US and European variants come with different processors. Notably, the Galaxy A14 5G US variant is powered by the Exynos 1330 processor. On the other hand, the European variant uses MediaTek Dimensity 700. As of now, there is no clarity on which SoC will power the Galaxy A14 5G Indian model, but we expect it to use the Exynos 1330 chipset in India.
The Galaxy A14 5G will also come with Samsung RAM Plus
But we now know that the phone will be available in India in four color options: Black, Dark Red, Light Green, and Silver. The marketing poster also highlights that the Galaxy A14 5G will sport a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It would be better if Samsung started switching over to punch-holes, as the “notch” is outdated.
Speaking of the internals, the device will be offered in 4GB and 6GB RAM configurations, with 64GB and 128GB storage options. There will be a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A14 5G with a 13MP selfie shooter. The phone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery and support 15W charging. It also has Samsung RAM Plus, Android 13, and One UI 5.0.
