Asus has a fairly solid telephone lineup in 2021 with the Zenfone 8 cellphone series and ROG 5. Zenfone 8 is one of the few compact android flagships while the Rog Phone 5 and five variations offered can be said to be the best game telephone experience. A new leak coming from within the Zenfone 8 series’ Android 12 updates may have just revealed the design of Zenfon 9 and Rog Phone 6.
The first image comes from ZenFone 8 who runs Android 12 and shows a hidden setting menu that details twice new in the back and sketch of what is considered ZenFone 9. This device seems to have two camera modules and the text below shows the main 50MP shooter With OIS and 12MP ultrawide snapper. There is number 09 under the camera text which then emphasizes that this is the successor of ZenFone 8.
The second image comes from the same firmware and shows the sketch of the alleged ROG phone 6. This device has a slightly changing look from the Zenfone 5 series with a larger island camera and a bigger rear screen. The device will use a triple camera setting like last year’s model even though we don’t get details on the sensor used here.
LED flash looks positioned right next to the camera this time. We are all but surely that the Rog Phone 6 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in the helmet and will be interesting to see what type of thermal management has been cooked by ASUS.
