Vivo has finally confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Vivo X90 Pro in India. The smartphone will be launched in India on April 26. The highly anticipated Vivo X90 Pro is the company’s yet another camera-focused smartphone, which succeeds the Vivo X80 series-launched in 2021. The soon-to-be launched smartphone comes with some of the top-end features, including a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset, portrait lens with 2X optical zoom, a 1-inch camera and more. This year, too, Vivo has partnered with Zeiss to ramp up its camera performanceNotably, the Vivo X80 line-up includes three models; Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. However, the Indian buyers will only get their hands on the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X90 series will be unveiled in India on April 26 at 12 pm. The exact availability and the price details of the smartphone are not known yet.

The Vivo X90 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring that your scrolling and video playback are smooth and seamless. At the front, there is a punch hole cutout which houses the selfie camera. The stunning display supports HDR10+ technology, which brings out more vivid colors and sharper contrasts for a more immersive viewing experience.
The X90 Pro, on the other hand, takes it up a notch with its 2K resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has a 452 PPI, 2160Hz PWM, HDR10+, and 300Hz touch sampling rate that give you a more detailed and vibrant display.Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset paired with Immortalis-G715, ensuring a fast and efficient performance. The X90 series packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, giving you ample space to store all your files and apps.
The cameras of these phones are something you should look forward to. The Vivo X90 features triple cameras on the back, including a 50MP IMX866 primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, OIS, EIS, and LED flash, a 12MP portrait sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a 32MP snapper on the front with f/2.45 for selfies and video calls.
The X90 Pro features a 50MP portrait sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 2x optical zoom, along with the 50MP IMX866 primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, OIS, EIS, and LED flash, and the 12MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, there is a 32MP snapper on the front.
Both phones have a long battery life and fast charging capabilities, with the X90 having a 4,810mAh battery and the X90 Pro having a larger 4,870mAh battery, both with 120W wired fast charging support. They also have 5G and 4G LTE connectivity options, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. They also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, stereo speakers, aptX HD, and Hi-Res audio.
