After it seems to be stagnated for so long, it seems that Twitter finally takes steps and encourages or tests new features in recent months. It also includes monetization options, such as Ticketed space and Twitter’s blue subscription which is still without notice. However, one thing that still does not change, is that the user can only “heart” tweet, which barely includes a reaction range that might be above the post. It can change immediately with a series of varying emojis reactions, except for one most still positive.
Facebook has long added a reaction that surpassed the “thumbs up” emoji icon but a fixed set that was still not asked “thumb”. Facebook is indeed sad, angry, and then “cares” the reaction that shows negative emotions but mostly to express sympathy for postwriter than disagreement. Facebook always explains how thumbs up Emoji will only cause negativity and have been trapped for that reason.
It looks like Twitter will give user requests. Last March, Jane Manchun Wong, was famous for its accurate leakage on the features of the upcoming social media, revealing some emoji that Twitter had considered adding to the list. It includes a thumbs down or doesn’t like emoji, even though there are other people there too.
Wong is now back with what can be the last set being tested and, no, it does not include non-preferred tweets. Even though emojis is actually not finished, because some still use old liver icons to like. It does have “sad” and “cheering”, which may be like the emoji “care” of Facebook, and the recognized “HMM” emojis is not widely used as a comparison.
It can still change before the final set slides, which still does not have a date. This may not be a big factor now but it can still help make Twitter feel a little more expressive, at least in ancient text. For all the others, there are audio and video tweets (fleet) now, not to mention spaces that you can use as your pulpit.
