The Oppo Reno8 series will use a combination of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and the high-end dimensity chip paired with Marisilicon X ISP, claiming the digital chat station.
Leakster added more details about one particular cellphone in the series, PGAM10, which expands what we have heard – 6.55 “120 HZL OLED Display, the main camera is 50 MP (IMX766), plus 8 MP ultra wide a 2 MP module along with 32 MP Selfie Camera. The phone will be suspected of displaying a fingerprint reader presented and a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W charging.
And it will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The upcoming chipset will feature four Cores Cortex-A710 and four A510, skip the fast-but hot core of 8 genes 1. This will display the last GPU GPU, A Adreno 662 (8 genes 1 using Adreno 730).
Which mediaTek chipset will be displayed in other oppo reno8 models? We don’t know yet, but the dimensity of 8000/8100 is the closest to Snapdragon. They use older Core A78 and A55 and new Mali-G610 GPU. The dimensity of 9000 is also an option, of course, this one has full-flagship combo X2, A710 and A510, plus higher Mali-G710.
Oppo can reveal the Reno8 series next month, a year after the first reno6 model became official. This means that the PGAM10 can be one of the first phones to display Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
