Oppo is preparing to launch the latest iteration from the Reno series on July 21. While the company has confirmed that Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro will be launched in India in a few weeks there is no confirmation about the date. Online Tipster has suggested that the launch will take place on July 21.Reno 8 Pro packaged the NPU Marisilicon X NPU nerve processing unit and supported the 4K ultra night videography. The Chinese version of Reno 8 Pro is being powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, but the Indian model is likely to use the MediaTek 8100-Max SOC dimensity, report moneycontrol.
For those who are not aware, the maker of the Chinese smartphone has announced this chip in December 2021 for the X Find series. Now, this same NPU will also head to the Reno 8 Series. While there are rumors that have revealed this information before, the brand has officially shared news together with several improvements in the Marisilicon X -platform. According to official notes, 6NM Marisilicon X NPU will help carrying an end to end to Reno 8 series.
Thanks to the ownership algorithm, the company has developed a new way to make Indian leather tones more accurately and even make a video portrait of bokeh flare as well. AI Oppo can even distinguish between skin defects and beauty spots, while intelligently applying different levels of beauty and skin smoothing based on the age and sex of the subject. This is built in the 6NM process and is also able to process AI Lossless Real-Time in the Raw Bayer domain with images taken from the 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera.
As for other specifications, we can expect Oppo Reno 8 Regular to come with a 6.43 -inch AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate. Moving the device will be a dimension of the MediaTek 1300 SOC, a 50MP primary sensor supported by NPU, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 4,500 mAh battery that offers a fast charging 80 W Super Flash Flash.
