Spotify has announced several new and latest accessibility features that help users navigate applications and enjoy the content. The most prominent of the feature, scheduled to arrive in the ‘week of coming,’ is an automatic podcast transcription device that allows users to read the podcast episode with or without audio playback.
Spotify has spent months composing him into the top podcast platform, some of the latest developments include things like how to support creators, exclusive podcasts and original podcasts, and, with this latest announcement, transcription podcasts. Features will soon arrive at Android and iOS for certain exclusive and original podcasts.
The transcript will be automatically generated and will include the time stamp to find your way. Spotify said that users will be able to knock certain paragraphs to start playing audio episodes of podcasts at that time, even though the transcript can also be read without playback.
Although this feature will be restricted at first, Spotify says that it has greater ambitions for podcast transcription services, including making it available for all podcasts on the platform. Users will be able to send their feedback about the upcoming beta after arriving to help shape the future tool.
Meanwhile, accessibility updates also bring additional text size options and overall improvement to navigate when using larger text measures. In addition, Spotify has also changed button controls found in the application, namely size, color, and format, to help users who have poor vision.
