Samsung will not save its smartphone users waiting for their latest security patches, and manufacturers have a decent reputation to launch monthly updates right on the signal – or even a little earlier than scheduled. Some cellphones got security updates 2022 March a few days early, as we saw with patches in February before that, and most of the updates will return in recent years. After the trend, the company released April 2022 security patches for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra before we even flipped the calendar.
The first sign of April update we came through the REDDITOR U / ILUVSAMSUNG, which posted the screenshot above from changing the renewal log in Korean. We see the SM-S908N ultra model number there, and a few translations reveals that we can expect features that focus on the camera such as flash support for close operation and improve UHD 30 and 60 video recording performance in low memory situations. Updates also update 13 stock applications, including Galaxy Shop, Samsung Health, and Samsung Pay. We also got word about this update about the Samsung Galaxy S22 unit of Samsung Galaxy S22 in Europe (SM-S90XB model number), per Xda developer.
OTA renewal will arrive in more areas in the coming days. You can also check manually by navigating to settings> Software Update> Download and install.
We will keep this post updated because Samsung released patches April 2022 for other galaxy phones.
