Covid-19 prevention of last year has seen a surge in purchasing consumer electronics and home entertainment products, from laptops to game consoles to large TVs. However, not everyone might have the luxury of a large living room or a large area to arrange TV or, maybe, they appreciate the same flexibility and portability as image quality. Fortunately, consumers today don’t have to make choices between them and choose something like a new XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K projector that adds a little intelligence to eliminate the honor of having to manage and position the projector perfectly every time you move it.
The XGimi Horizon Pro design is a bit of oxymoron because both are interesting but Nondescript. To clarify the latter, there is not much on any side of the projector’s face, including the top, which visually divert attention from a rather striking premium design. The Horizon Pro metal chassis looks very handsome so you don’t even believe how much it costs.
There is nothing in front of which is stored for large LED lights and sensors for a smart trick that we will convey later. Wrapping around the side and front of the projector is an unbroken speaker grille to store the same lights and Harman Kardon on the left side. The back does have a grille vent and port but the latter is so neatly arranged they are easy to ignore and ignore.
XGIMI Horizon Pro supports all types of connectivity options, including cable and wireless sources. One thing to note is that even if you decide to be truly wireless, the projector does not have its own battery in it. This means you have to save it into a resource, something you must consider when deciding where to put the projector, both permanently or temporarily.
Horizon Pro is also equipped with a remote control that is equally interesting visually as the projector itself. Double tone design attracts user eyes to the actual remote control area. Fortunately, there isn’t much there on the butt walk but still managed to have a unique visual identity and not just apes like the Apple TV remote.
With a 2,200 lumens, xgimi horizon pro bright. Of course, your distance can vary depending on when and where you watch but only bright sunlight from the window that will damage the full experience. Fortunately, precisely because of the mobility of the projector that such consideration does not have to be permanent.
In a profitable state, Horizon Pro 4 throws bright images with bright colors. This is truly superior to 4K content, which is expected from 4K projectors and combines several of the best video technology that is possible on the projector, including HDR10 X HLG (Hybrid Gamma Log) and MEMC (Motion estimation, motion compensation). Unfortunately, don’t expect a more advanced standard like HDR10 + and Dolby vision which is still far from the range of DLP projectors.
The only gap in tough horizon pro armor is content that is lower than 4K, especially HD sources and even SDR content. The upscaling projector algorithm can use a lot of work because it produces an inconsistent and bad quality image of these low sources, especially wheat films that appear and disappear randomly. For those who especially get their videos from such sources, you don’t need to go far because XGIMI also has a non-pro horizon projector specifically for 1080p content.
