A few days ago, Oneplus finally confirmed what would be called the next Nord-Branded cellphone. While Oneplus Nord N200 5G will be an entry-level telephone that they can buy, in the US and Canada will be able to buy, Oneplus Nord CE 5G is who will depart for several global markets in less than two weeks. It does provide time for leakage about the specifications last and, based on this first portion, it might be a bag downgrade and increase mixture.
One of the most persistent rumors about the ranks of Oneplus Nord this year is a switch from Qualcomm Snapdragon to MediaTek’s dimensity processor. Indeed, Oneplus’s own statement about Oneplus Nord CE, short for “core edition”, getting an important experience that was distilled seemed to confirm rumors. Apparently, it might not apply to Oneplus Nord CE but maybe not all are good news at the same time.
According to the source of the Central Android, the “core edition” Nord will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 750g instead. Meanwhile sticking to the chip capable of 5G Qualcomm, it also retreated a little from Oneplus Nord’s Snapdragon 765g. In practice, users hopefully will not feel a lot of differences but it also depends on the remaining cellphone specifications, such as RAM. For reference, OG Oneplus Nord offers 8 and 12 GB of memory.
The leak also refers to the 6.43-inch AMOLED screen oneplus Nord CE with a speed of refreshing 90Hz, almost unchanged from its predecessor. What has been upgraded is the rear camera, now at 64MP, and will be placed in a more lump similar to Oneplus 9’s. The front camera is recorded to have a 16MP sensor, if it’s the only one, it will be a downgrade from the first Nord’s double front camera.
On the one hand, disappointing that the successor of Oneplus Nord will take a few steps backwards instead of advancing. On the other hand, Oneplus’s words themselves have suggested that it will happen. We will definitely know for sure on June 10 when the company officially announced Oneplus Nord CE 5G for the Indian and European markets.
