When it comes to password managers, their cellular applications tend to get the most attention. But as important is the extension of the browser they offer. They can make or destroy the experience of using the platform. 1Password has one of the better ones I use, and thanks to updates 2.0 new companies, it becomes more capable.
The main feature is support for biometric opening. As long as you install the desktop application on your computer, the plugin can open a safe using the touch ID and Windows Hello. To be clear, 1Password has supported the platform on the desktop, but today updates make it faster to enter your password on the website.
The company has also made it easier to make, save, and update the login directly from the extension. The tweaked interface will show you all information 1Password will save it to your vault. You can edit these details without opening the desktop application and adding tags to help the organization. When you update login credentials, the fresh interface also makes it easier to see what changes. Finally, the extension now supports dark mode so it won’t look out of place next to your browser if you have done it like that.
If you are not a 1password user, this might look like a small addition, but things like support for biometric are the features requested by the company to be applied for a while. If you already have an extension added to your browser, you don’t need to get out of the way you update it. Your browser will automatically update to version 2.0.
