It seems like rollable smartphones are the coming thing in mobile design, offering an indispensable approach to foldable phones. Now, Motorola has joined the party by showing off a rollable phone prototype of its own.
The company showed off a rollable phone at the Lenovo Tech World 2022 conference, CNET reported, and it differs in a big way from former sweats.More specifically, the Motorola rollable phone’s screen extends from the top rather than from the side like prototypes from other manufacturers. This reportedly allows the phone screen to go from five elevation to6.5- elevation, complete with the UI conforming consequently. Check out the clip below for a better idea.
We ’re not relatively sure about the exact screen aspect rates at play then, but the repudiated display brings to mind quirky bias like the LG Vu with its 43 screen.Nonetheless, this approach differs from Oppo and LG ‘s rollable phone prototypes. These earlier bias offer a large smartphone screen when repudiated, turning into a tablet- style display when the screen is extended. Meanwhile, Motorola is using the rollable conception to offer a fund-friendly phone that can turn into a large- screen handset. In other words, this is for people who want a further compact phone rather than a tablet in your fund.
This is just a conception right now, so there’s no guarantee that this product will ever see the light of day. But we hope manufacturers adequately address enterprises about screen and motor continuity before these bias get marketable releases.
