Motorola Moto G22 was launched last month debut today in India. Appears in a single 4GB / 64GB memory configuration with two color options – black cosmic and blue iceberg. There is also a third version called Mint Green to arrive later, while the white pearl model has been passed for the Indian market.
Moto G22 was given a price at INR10,999 ($ 145 / € 135) and will go on sale in India through Flipkart starting April 13. However, the company offers discounts of INR1,000 ($ 13 / € 12) on the purchase conducted until April 14.
Moto G22 is powered by Helio G37 SOC and runs the ad-free version, “Stock-Stock” from Android 12. This smartphone is built around 6.5 “90Hz HD + LCD with a punch hole in the middle for a 16MP selfie camera. Behind, we have a primary camera 50MP which joins 8MP Ultrawide, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth unit.
The budget smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports charging 20W, not 15W in India. It was not surprising because this was not the first time Motorola had launched a smartphone in India with faster charging. Last December, telephone makers launched the Moto G51 5G in the Asian country with 20W charging support, which was twice as fast as the Chinese and International G51 5G unit which was limited to 10W.
Motorola Motorola Moto G22 Spotlight includes water repellent design, a special microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 1TB), USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and fingerprint reader installed on the side.
