Microsoft is the newest company that focuses on applications for entry-level smartphones that have 1GB or 2GB RAM in it. The Lite version of the application has largely been understood by Google on the market, especially for Android One and then the Android Go platform. But Microsoft also targets segments that are expected to grow the fastest in the coming years.
Outlook Lite application is one of these efforts. Like other Lite applications, Outlook loses several main features that help companies to streamline the size of the application. The Lite version of the application is designed to run on Android devices, and we don’t expect the trend to change in the near future.
Outlook Lite applications do not see many changes in terms of interface design. You can access letters and calendars from the bottom of the screen, while the search icon is placed on the top left. Microsoft says Outlook Lite allows you to enter with Hotmail, MSN, Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft accounts.
Outlook Lite has been available in countries such as India, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Turkey. All of these countries still serve consumers with 2G and 3G devices that have 1GB of RAM.
