Moog has made all synth iOS applications free to mark the birthday of the founder of Bob Moog, which is this Sunday. It is not clear how long they will be available for Zilch, so if you are interested in disconnecting the model 15, minimoog model D, Animoog and free Filtatron application, now is your chance.
This application is usually not cheap, as shown by Musicradar. Model 15 usually costs $ 30, retail anoog at $ 20, minimoog model D is $ 15 as a standard and moog tends to fill $ 5 for Filatron. Moog temporarily made a free minimoog model at the start of the pandemic too.
If you have searched the Synth Solid application or two to play around when you are traveling, you can’t go wrong with this, especially when they are free. Save for special iPhone Animoog, the application functions on the iPad too. A larger tablet screen makes it easier to use – the minimoog application is not fully displayed on the iPhone, for example. Synth fans can also use Model 15 as a AUV3 plugin in logic, GarageBand and Mainstage in MacOS Big Sur.
“These instruments, some of the most expressive musical instruments found Bob in their lives, have been carefully created in cellular form to introduce new ways that inspire and enjoy to experiment with sound,” Moog wrote on Instagram. Sunday will be the 87th birthday of Moog. He died in 2005.
