Thursday looked at a pixel leakage 6 and the design was rather controversial which, considering Google’s past cellphones, wasnt surprise. While some people may not be impressed by the way the phone will try to draw attention, the software above may not be divisive. Android 12 has leaked to deliver in new design languages but the last display shown in this latest leak actually put a new round on the change.
Google might make its biggest aesthetic changes to Android since it introduced the first iteration of material design back in 2014. For Android 12, it seems to make better use of all the space offered by the current big screen. By chance, some might really see the trail of one Samsung UI in this UI element.
UI elements such as buttons and sliders are bigger and wider, making it more easily touched with fingers with any size. The widget also gets a new look with more round corners and lots of spaces in it. Notifications also seem to be grouped visually better this time than individual bubbles for each notice.
One of the biggest changes, however, seems to be with the notification icon itself. Instead of having an icon for each application that has a notification, only the numbers will be viewed next to the clock, both of them are covered in the egg-shaped button. The clock also disappears when you are on the lock screen because there is already a large hour in the middle.
Some of these changes will most likely please some who want to refresh from an Android experience. Others, on the other hand, may not be entertained how he hides some things that are easily accessible before while also wasting space. Either way, we will know the deal comes on Tuesday when Google I / O 2021 starts.
