Amazon Music HD is being bundled to Amazon Music Unlimited, adding lossless audio without changes to the label price streaming services subscription. It came because Apple announced that it would also make lossless audio available at no additional cost through the Apple music service. In the case of Amazon, if you have become the main customer then the cost of lossless music is now even cheaper.
For Amazon customers, Amazon Music HD has more than 70 million songs in what he records as high definition audio (HD). That means the Quality Track CD, at 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, and up to 850 kbps.
More than 7 million songs, meanwhile, are available in what is called an Ultra HD amazon quality. It is up to 3,730 kbps, and up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. In addition, Amazon includes an audio format 3D, including Dolby atmos and – unlike Apple – the Sony 360 reality audio system used by Sony on a typical (and expensive) RA5000 speaker.
Previously, Amazon was charged $ 5 per month for Amazon Music HD, above the ordinary Amazon Music subscription that was unlimited. If you have become a customer, it will be lost from the next billing cycle. At present, this offer is available in the US, Britain, Germany, Canada, France, Italy and Spain.
As you would expect, you will need equipment that can really take advantage of all additional audio quality. For Amazon HD audio, it means any device like a semi-latest smartphone, along with decent headphones. You also need a data connection that provides at least 1.5 Mbps, like LTE.
If you want ultra HD quality music, you have to make sure your headphones or speakers support at least 40 kHz dynamic range. You might also need a USB DAC to support it. For 3D Audio, Studio Echo Amazon itself can handle flow, or Sony’s RA5000 or RA3000 which is cheaper.
Amazon Music individual individual plans are $ 9.99 per month, while family plans are $ 14.99 per month. However, if you have got the main subscription, the individual plan is $ 7.99 per month.
