One of the most interesting vehicle announcements in the past few months is the new F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup. Ford promises the truck version with a larger battery pack will run around 300 miles per cost. There are some evidence that shows Ford maybe sand in the driving range, and vehicles are good for a much longer drive time among charging.
According to YouTuber Marques Brownlee, Lightning F-150 may offer up to 460 miles from the driving range per cost. Recently, Brownlee can get pre-production lightning for videos, which can be seen below. According to Brownlee, the driving range of 300 miles from lightning quoted with 1000 pounds on the bed.
It should be noted that good news about 1000 pounds in the bed comes from Brownlee, not Ford. However, Brownlee did show the video that the truck he drove had 367 miles of range which was available according to the Dash display with around 80 percent of the capacity of the battery available. Keep in mind that as well as the estimation range of electronic onboard in modern cars today, it depends on how you drive a vehicle.
However, in whatever way you slice it, the range of 367 miles with only 80 percent of the remaining battery capacity is certainly suggesting Ford is a driving distance that is located. Another potential warning is that the truck used by Brownlee in his video is the top-of-the-line platinum with the expanded battery package. Ford may not be less programmed on other trims.
It must be possible that Ford might be sandbags with a standard range battery pack; Only time will tell. Ford is undoubtedly attracting a large number of EV buyers with F-150 electricity, especially fleet operators with short-range trucks in cities. In fact, one version of the truck is intended for the operator of the fleet and those who exercise from electrical pickups.
