The PS5 and Xbox X series are some of the most talked gadgets in Tech last year, but the four-year-old Nintendo switch is still a console to be defeated. Sony and Microsoft launched an upscale gaming rig at the end of 2020, and they had run out of stock since the initial preorder. Meanwhile, Nintendo continued to sell millions of switches, because everyone stuck at home desperately needed something to entertain themselves. The switch continues to outperform its rival well up to 2020, although it is not suitable for one of the new devices.
Nintendo has been rumored to be launching the “Switch Pro” switch version, and the company continues to deny the rumors in recent years. But the increase in the number of reports showed that the enhanced switch model might go to the autumn shops, with the disclosure came soon after mid-June. A new leak includes some Pro switch updates, showing various ways in which the new console will outperform the original.
Spain Blog Vandal said it had obtained Pro Pro specification information from Asian peripheral producers who had access to the console that had not been released. The accessory maker only offers details about the console design than the specifications.
According to the unnamed company, the new switch will be very similar to the current model, so it might be compatible with the current con-con model and other accessories. The pro switch screen will be bigger at 7 inches, but it will be because it will have a minimal bezel. This will be an OLED screen, the report records echo the previous Pro Switch rumors. We already know from the smartphone industry that allows OLED panels to allow producers to significantly reduce screen bezels.
The report said that the Pro Switch will also have a default holder that allows the console to sit on a surface similar to a pro-surface tablet / laptop. The microSD card slot will be more accessible than before, because it will be placed behind under the default holder.
The new Dock will display a similar design with the current one, but it will be wider behind to accommodate two USB 3.0 ports and an Ethernet connector. Relatively, the current model only has a USB 2.0 port and no cable internet connection.
Leakers did not provide photos or rendering from the pro switch but said the console was already in the final production process. They said the global launch date was not decided. The console may be launched in September or October, according to a previous report from Bloomberg. But Spanish blogs say Europe may not get a new console until the end of November. And even then, supply will be limited.
As usual, with leaks, there is no way to verify this. But the increasing number of pro reports seems to indicate that the announcement might occur soon.
